According to Ministry of Education, up to 70 entrants living in Azerbaijan will have their studies financed by the state

As a result of the decision by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, ethnic Georgian entrants living in Azerbaijan, who can't travel to Georgia to take the national exams will have their studies financed by the state.

As the Ministry noted, up to 70 entrants will be the beneficiaries of financial assistance.

"The entrants who fall into the category in question, according to the legislature, could enter the hiegher education institutios without taking the national exams. However, the state grant was provided on condition if they succeeded in the exams. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as a result of our decision, in order to assist our compatriots up to 70 entrants will be financed by the state", - reads the statement.
