Secretary of State Mike Pompeo states that the US is looking at banning Chinese application Tiktok.
"With respect to Chinese apps on people's cell phones, I can assure you the United States will get this one right too, Laura," he said. "I don't want to get out in front of the President, but it's something we're looking at", - stated Pompeo.
The US legislators have recently raised concerns with regards to protecting personal data of Tiktok users claiming that Chineses laws demand the local companies to assist with intelligence.
For the record, India banned 58 Chinese apps, including Tiktok couple of days ago.
