According to the Minister of Healthcare, Ekaterine Tikaradze, it is important for every drug that is created against coronavirus to be supported by research.

As Tikaradze stated, Georgia will wait for the research result and then will make a decision.

"It is important for any drug, whether it's a drug or a vaccine, to be backed by the necessary research. We will first wait for the result of this research and then will make additional decisions with our partner organizations", - stressed Tikaradze.

For the record, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia has approved the first vaccine against coronavirus.
