Sergo Chikhladze: No changes are being discussed in the rallies announced by the opposition, but they may be reconsidered if the government makes some concessions

According to Sergo Chikhladze, one of the leaders of Strategy Builder, no changes are being discussed in the rallies announced by the opposition, but they may be reconsidered if the government makes some concessions.

He said that concessions mean the release of "political prisoners" and the start of negotiations between the opposition and the government.

"In such a case, of course, the opposition will gather and it is possible to consider changes. We would like to remind you that we had canceled all the rallies until they stormed the office of the National Movement. So if we see concessions, readiness for negotiations and the release of the so-called political prisoners, of course, we will consider changing the agenda," Chikhladze said.

According to him, the opposition parties will make a decision by consensus - based on the ongoing political developments and the negotiation process. Let's see how the events will develop, what kind of concessions the Georgian Dream will make and how realistic it will be to start negotiations. The main thing is to stop political persecution," Sergo Chikhladze said.
