"We will not enter the parliament, we will walk in the parliament, we will have weapons in our pockets and we will have some privileges - this is not enough to discuss issues seriously," Gia Volski, first vice-speaker of the parliament, told reporters.

As Volski points out, there are topics that can be discussed, but Girchi needs to better substantiate certain issues.

"I do not think it is serious that they blackmail us by saying that they will not enter the parliament, if their demands are not satisfied. However, what this party is telling us may be good for politics and for mobilizing supporters, but the public has a different demand for the parliament," Volski said.

According to a statement issued by Girchi, their boycott will be different from that of other opposition parties.

More specifically, Girchi states that it will use the privileges provided for Members of Parliament under legislation: the Parliament building, the right to stand in front of a press banner and speak to the press, as well as the immunity of a Member of Parliament and the right to carry a weapon.
