Georgian Dream is trying to correct the image of the President, - Akaki Bobokhidze, Secretary General of "European Georgia" told Palitranews TV in connection with the President's meeting with the opposition.

"Unity of the opposition is inevitable to defeat Bidzina Ivanishvili. If the Georgian Dream has enough sanity, it is trying to correct the image of the president. I hope they want to increase the involvement of the President, so they spoiled something and then they will give up something after the president's veto", - Bobokhidze said.

As for the changes in the "Code of Administrative Offenses", according to Bobokhidze, the opposition must again activate mediators.

"Bidzina Ivanishvili thinks that he has overcome the biggest problem. Due to the hopelessness of the opposition, due to the impatience of some, the opposition stopped getting the result at halfway, where we could answer for Bidzina Ivanishvili. If the Georgian signatory opposition thinks that the Georgian Dream is violating the spirit of the agreement, the referees, meaning the mediators should be informed in time. If activated, the result will be relatively better. What is the problem?! What were our demands yesterday have become a matter of begging and imploring today", - Bobokhidze said.

In addition, Bobokhidze spoke about the process of implementation of the agreement document and noted that the Georgian Dream leaves the possibility that Nika Melia may eventually still end up in prison.

As for what will be the decision of Tariel Nakaidze, a member of the European Georgia party, if Nika Melia will enter the parliament after his release, Akaki Bobokhidze said that his party will not use the mandate in the parliament.

"European Georgia will not use its mandate in this parliament. There won't be any member in the parliament on behalf of European Georgia. We won't ask the CEC to restore the lists. Moreover, I think that the "National Movement" should not enter the parliament either, because this parliament is illegitimate now. "European Georgia" acts as it thinks it is right. Then the result will be as it will be", - Bobokhidze said.
