The parties that signed the Michel document are holding a meeting in the parliament regarding the constitutional changes

The parties that signed the Charles Michel document are holding a meeting in the parliament regarding the constitutional changes.

The meeting addresses the changes that are to be initiated under the Charles Michel Agreement and which require constitutional amendments.

According to the member of the majority Shalva Papuashvili, the three issues envisaged by the document need constitutional changes.

"Today there will be a meeting between the parties that signed the April 19 agreement. In this format, we will discuss the implementation of the next stage of the agreement - constitutional amendments. Constitutional changes are needed on three issues: a 2% threshold in the parliamentary elections, the possibility of forming a four-member faction and the issue of electing a chief prosecutor by a qualified majority", - Papuashvili said.
