According to the survey of the National Democratic Institute (NDI), the majority of respondents do not know or do not say which party is closest to their views. Only 42% of respondents named a specific party.
According to the poll, 24% of respondents think that the Georgian Dream is closest to their views, 9% named the United National Movement, and 8% named that other parties. 41% think that none of the parties is close to their views. 17% do not have the answer to the question and at the same time, refuse to answer.
In addition, according to the NDI poll, the majority of respondents - 80% - support cross-party collaboration, while 8% do not support it.
The majority of respondents, 34%, see local players, the parties themselves, in the role of moderator between the government and the opposition. 18% think that western partners could be the moderator. 11% think that the President of Georgia should be the moderator in this process.
The results reflect data collected between December 7-13, 2021, through telephone interviews with a nationwide representative sample of Georgia’s adult population, excluding occupied territories, that included 2,099 completed interviews. The average margin of error is +/- 1.4 percent. Respondents were selected using the random-digit-dial method. This poll was carried out by CRRC Georgia.
