According to Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili, the decision of the Strasbourg Court confirmed that "everything is in accordance with the law" in relation to former President Mikheil Saakashvili.
According to the Prime Minister, he no longer wants to talk about the prisoner.
"In response to another lie, propaganda, slander, Strasbourg rejected speculations about one of the prisoners’ alleged ill-treatment and disrespect. On the contrary, it has been proved that everything is in accordance with the law. I do not want to talk about the prisoner anymore, now we have to talk to people about real work," Gharibashvili said.
According to the Deputy Minister of Justice, Beka Dzamashvili, the European Court of Human Rights removed Mikheil Saakashvili's complaint concerning his treatment in the penitentiary system from the list of cases to be considered.
