I'm waiting for the whole National Movement to attack the Polish Prime Minister - everyone can see that sanctions have been imposed on Russia, the sanctions are quite severe, but nevertheless, the Russian aggression has not slowed down in any way, Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream party, told reporters.
According to Irakli Kobakhidze, when the Georgian Government spoke about it, they were attacked.
"It's simple - of course, sanctions have a serious economic effect and were a significant step by the EU, but when it comes to deterring the war, unfortunately, sanctions have no effect in this regard. We talked about this, which was followed by a hysterical campaign by the National Movement. Maybe now they will attack the Prime Minister of Poland because of this statement," Irakli Kobakhidze said.
For the record, the Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki said that the EU sanctions against Russia acted as a "weak vaccine" and this accelerated certain economic processes in Russia.
"The sanctions acted as a very weak vaccine. At this stage, they not only did not stop Putin's military machine, but also to some extent intensified certain economic activities in Russia," Morawiecki said.
