Irakli Gharibashvili on Salome Samadashvili: I was directly told in the European Parliament that this and other people are deliberately harming Georgia

This is a purposeful, anti-Georgian, anti-state policy, which Ms. Salome Samadashvili talked about a lot. I was directly told, she and others were personally named, I did not say it consciously a few days ago, but they go and gossip, I was directly told in the European Parliament that this and other people are deliberately harming Georgia, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said when delivering his closing remarks in Parliament.

He addressed the opposition and noted that they do not serve the interests of the country.

"Mrs. Natsvlishvili comes out and says without any justification, without any facts, without evidence that there is a black hole in Georgia. I do not know what to answer you now. Either you do not understand, or you do not want to understand. Maybe there are real problems in your brain. I do not know what to say to you about this.

While the country is waiting for the most important decision from the EU, especially today when there is no consensus in the EU. We are waiting for the decision whether they will give us candidate status or not, and these people, seemingly patriots, spread statements that there are black holes in Georgia. This is enmity, betrayal of our country's national interests. You do not serve the interests of our country. If you really wanted to give our country EU status, you would have acted differently," Irakli Gharibashvili said.
