Nika Melia: For 10 years the authorities had been scaring people by the return of the National Movement to power and now they are scaring the public with war

According to the standard of Georgian Dream - protection of national honor is xenophobia, Chairman of the National Movement, Nika Melia said.

As Melia explains, Georgian society is accused of xenophobia by the Georgian authorities.

"It turns out that the nationality of a certain provocateur does not matter, we should not get involved in the provocation, otherwise this will end badly and lead to war”, he said.

According to him, for 10 years the authorities had been scaring people by the return of the National Movement to power and now they are scaring the public with war.

The remarks come in response to the statement made by Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Georgian Dream, who said that the National Movement, its satellite parties, its own media outlets and some of the richest NGOs have launched a xenophobic and chauvinistic campaign against Russian citizens in Georgia.
