Irakli Kobakhidze: Soso Topuridze exposed "black money" within the National Movement, this one and a half million GEL has not been declared to the Audit Service, it is obvious that "black money" is circulating in the party

Soso Topuridze exposed "black money" within the National Movement, this one and a half million GEL has not been declared to the Audit Service, it is obvious that "black money" is circulating in the party, Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream party, told journalists in response to the statement of Soso Topuridze, a former high-ranking official of Constitutional Security Department.

According to Kobakhidze, now there is a fight for finances in the party, and if polarization in the National Movement gets deeper, it would be better.

"Polarization and controversy within the National Movement continues, which is very good, because the more polarization there is in their ranks, the less polarization there will be in the political system as a whole. Therefore, it will be good if these processes continue inside their party. The statement of Soso Topuridze, who revealed the financing of Nika Melia, is continuation of the controversy. It is an interesting detail that he actually exposed “black money” within the National Movement. This million and a half GEL has not been declared to the audit service, it is obvious that "black money" is circulating in the party, which we already knew, but with the publication of these spendings by Topuridze, it became clear how much "black money" is spent in the National Movement,” Kobakhidze said.

According to him, there is a personal conflict in the party, which has political reasons and private interests.

"One of the main things they fight for is the "black money" of Saakashvili and Kezerashvili, which is bloody money stolen from Georgia. Now they are trying to invest this stolen money in Georgia. The fight within the National Movement is related to this money," Kobakhidze said.

For information, Soso Topuridze wrote on the social network that National Movement spends one and a half million on Nika Melia in a year.
