Salome Zurabishvili should pardon not only Nika Gvaramia, but also Mikheil Saakashvili, Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of Strategy Builder, told journalists.

As Vashadze mentioned, this is Salome Zurabishvili's responsibility to the Georgian nation regarding the European perspective.

"Nika Gvaramia's pardoning has been on the agenda for months. If Salome Zurabishvili respected the European perspective and her own institution, she would have already pardoned him. It is definitely so! I don't believe we will get any result by meeting her. If Ivanishvili instructs her, she will pardon him, if he does not instruct her, she will not pardon him. Illusions that she is independent must be dispelled as quickly as possible, because illusions are one of the main weapons in the hands of the Georgian Dream, thus feeding the population and destroying unity, hindering the European perspective and wasting time. I will add here that Salome Zurabishvili should pardon not only Nika Gvaramia, but also Mikheil Saakashvili. This is his responsibility to the Georgian nation regarding the European perspective," Vashadze said.

At the same time, the he spoke about the planned changes in the direction of justice and noted that "these changes will not bring us the candidate status for the European Union".

"When you appoint Murusidze and Murusidze's continuation in the Council of Justice and introduce some cosmetic changes, of course nothing will change. Our bill has already been registered in the Parliament, which covers the issues of the Council of Justice, selection of judges and many more - the very issues that are in the recommendations of the European Union," Vashadze said.
