For 400 days, they have been claiming that the prisoner is regressing every day, all this is unbelievable - they are asking us to make this decision politically, to release Saakashvili, in order to destabilize the country, we cannot make such a decision, Georgian Dream Chairman Irakli Kobakhidze said.

He also responded to the report published by Empathy regarding Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition and noted that this organization is associated with the National Movement and is therefore biased.

"Empathy is associated with the National Movement, which its leader has never hidden. Therefore, the reliability is zero. This organization is usually biased. Second, as for the diagnosis, it should be clearly stated what specific disease should lead to the prisoner's release, which other prisoners do not have. As for the list itself, any prisoner or non-prisoner can have such a list. Certain types of deviations, medical problems, are experienced by practically everyone. Therefore, such a list does not mean anything. It should be specified what is the disease, problem, pathology that should serve as basis for releasing this particular prisoner. They cannot say this, instead there are some dry statements and PR campaigns, lobbying campaigns, which are unacceptable. We can't destabilize the country. We are asked to make this decision politically, to release Saakashvili, in order to destabilize the country, and of course we cannot make such a decision”, said Kobakhidze.

According to the Empathy Center, the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has about 10 diagnoses, which makes his imprisonment incompatible.

As stated in the report of the center, Mikheil Saakashvili has fever of unknown etiology, anorexia, rapid weight loss, pain in muscles, joints, bones, excoriations - scratches - marks on the body, muscle spasms, which may be an unidentified infectious process and/or results of possible intoxication.
