This issue is no longer relevant for us, we have stopped making comments about prisoner Saakashvili, this is a legal issue from beginning to end, Anri Okhanashvili, Chairman of the Legal Issues Committee, said in response to a question regarding today's trial of Mikheil Saakashvili.

As he stated, the relevant state agency will decide what statement to issue and when.

"We are done with any kind of commenting on these issues. This is not our issue. You should not ask these questions to politicians when it is a legal issue. The relevant state agency and institution will decide by itself what statement to publish and what not, when there is a need for it, that's why we have finished commenting on this issue," Okhanashvili said.

For information, yesterday the Chairman of the Georgian Dream party, Irakli Kobakhidze, said that there is an attempt to politicize the issue of Mikheil Saakashvili, therefore he will not comment on Saakashvili.
