According to the Minister of Justice, Rati Bregadze, in 1 year, the state has spent up to 200,000 GEL on the former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, while in general, 17,400 GEL is spent on 1 prisoner.

The Minister stated this in response to a question asked within the framework of the Minister's Hour in the Parliament.

"Up to 200,000 GEL has been spent in 1 year. About 17,400 GEL is spent on 1 prisoner. As for Saakashvili, up to 200,000 GEL has been spent by the state," the Minister notes.
