Tbilisi City Court considered the evidence submitted by the Prosecutor's Office and found 13 people guilty of attempted murder under aggravating circumstances in the vicinity of Laguna Vere in Tbilisi and failure to report the crime.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, the investigation continues in the Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to identify and arrest other persons involved in the crime.
"The evidence examined during the trial proved that on April 2, 2022, in Tbilisi, in one of the rooms of the JSC Tbilisi Road Company office, K.K. and his friends were visited by their acquaintances, as well as members of their personal security. During the meeting, an argument between the parties turned into a physical confrontation, during which K.K. shot several times, as a result of which three persons in the room received health injuries of varying degrees.
During the said confrontation, K.M. and D.C., shot K.K. several times outside the confrontation room, who died on the spot as a result of the injuries received.
The investigation established that 12 people at the scene knew about the commission of a particularly serious crime, but did not report the incident to the law enforcement authorities.
Law enforcement officers arrested the defendants at different times after the incident”, reads the information.
