Badri Japaridze: The policy of Georgian Dream it only serves to make the authorities of the Russian Federation satisfied and Sergey Lavrov confirmed his satisfaction with the Georgian authorities today

This is a sad reality and a fact that prove that the policy of Georgian Dream in relation to the actions of the Russian Federation, in relation to Ukraine, in relation to sanctions, is anti-European, therefore, anti-national, and it only serves to make the authorities of the Russian Federation satisfied, Lelo Secretary General Badri Japaridze told journalists, thus responding to the statement of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

According to Badri Japaridze, Sergey Lavrov confirmed his satisfaction with the Georgian authorities.

"We have always evaluated the actions of the current Georgian Government as deviating from the politics of the entire civilized world, which serves one thing - to deserve praise from the Russian Federation, and what we expected happened. The Russian Government directly praised the Georgian Dream Government. This is a sad reality, when the Russian Federation, which praises autocratic regimes in Syria, Belarus, now praises the Georgian authorities. This is a sad reality and a fact that prove that the policy of Georgian Dream in relation to the actions of the Russian Federation, in relation to Ukraine, in relation to sanctions, is anti-European, therefore, anti-national, and it only serves to make the authorities of the Russian Federation satisfied and Sergey Lavrov confirmed his satisfaction with the Georgian authorities today”, said Japaridze.

We see that Georgia, like other countries of the world, is under pressure from the West, which openly and shamelessly demands to join the sanctions against Russia. This small country and its Government have the courage to say that they will be guided by their own interests, economic interests, this deserves praise, - the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, said in response to the question of the Alt-Info journalist at the press conference in Moscow.

According to Lavrov, he is happy that people-to-people contacts are actively developing with Georgia.

"I am happy to see that the people-to-people contacts with Georgia is actively developing on a personal level. Last year, Georgia's GDP increased by 10%, largely due to tourism and trade relations with Russia. I hope that we will be able to restore direct air traffic very soon", Lavrov said.
