As Kaladze explains, it is impossible to release Mikheil Saakashvili from prison.

When a person deliberately does not take food, obviously, he will become weak... Personally, why should I, my teammates, be happy for the death of Saakashvili or any prisoner, but this person is in the mode of self-harm. If we don't get the appropriate calorie intake, we will also weaken," Kaladze says.

As he explained, the government is doing everything to get the EU candidate status and join the European family as quickly as possible.

"For me, as the Mayor of the capital, as the general secretary of Georgian Dream, it is important for the citizens of my country to know the truth, the reality. We have not deviated for a second from the path called European integration, but when we hear such absurd statements, when we hear absurd resolutions, it will have a reaction and appropriate answers from our side, because we have always protected and protect the interest of our country," Kaladze said.
