Interpellation hearing of Irakli Gharibashvili in Parliament postponed for a month

The interpellation hearing of Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, which was on the agenda of the plenary sessions of the current week, has been postponed for a month.

At the end of March, the MPs will also listen to Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili in the Parliament.

The visit due to be paid to Turkey on February 23-24 was named as the reason for the postponement of Gharibashvili's visit to the Parliament. Irakli Gharibashvili was summoned to the Parliament through the interpellation procedure by opposition MPs Teona Akubardia, Ana Buchukuri and Khatuna Samnidze. They have questions about national security issues with the Prime Minister.
