Irakli Gharibashvili: If anyone wants to travel to Kyiv, they are free to do so, but any self-respecting government would act as we act, considering the statements heard from the political leadership of Ukraine

If anyone wants to travel to Kyiv, all people are free, we do not limit anyone, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said in response to the statement made by President Salome Zurabishvili.

According to Irakli Gharibashvili, any self-respecting government would act in accordance with the statements heard from the political leadership of Ukraine.

“I have not heard President Salome Zurabishvili's statement, but I can tell you that we are acting in the national interest of our country. We joined many resolutions. Now, along with other European leaders, Foreign Minister is in New York, where he participated in the UN Assembly and presented our position on behalf of the country. He once again expressed solidarity with Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity. If anyone wants to do more about it, including traveling to Kyiv, all people are free and we are not restricting anyone. On the other hand, in the wake of the statements that were heard from the political leadership of Ukraine, any self -respecting government would act as we act, ”Irakli Gharibashvili said.

According to him, if the destructive opposition were in power, Georgia would become a "polygon."

“If this destructive opposition had been in power, Georgia would have become a polygon today, like Ukraine. Let us all be quiet, calm, let's take care of our work and take care of our country,” Irakli Gharibashvili said.
