That is not a nice picture, but it is an isolated incident, Michael Siebert, Managing Director of the European External Action Service, said when asked about the burning of a EU flag by the representatives of Alt-Info in front of the Parliament of Georgia.

According to him, he saw a woman waving the EU flag against water cannon, which is a picture that stays in his head.

“That is not a nice picture, but it is an isolated incident. In our view, I have personally seen many videos over the last week or 10 days, where European flags have been waived in very, very courageous moments. I have seen this woman waving the flag against water cannon. So this is the picture that stays in my head”, said Michael Siebert.
