Shalva Papuashvili: What the opposition did in the hall is direct sabotage - it became clear how the European integration process of Georgia is being disrupted

What we have seen in the hall now is direct sabotage, said the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, at the plenary session of the Parliament, after the opposition left the session hall as a sign of protest, where the voting procedure for electing non-judge members of the Supreme Council of Justice was underway.

As Shalva Papuashvili pointed out, today it became clear how the radical opposition is disrupting the European integration process of Georgia.

"This is the manifestation of the disrespect shown by the radical opposition to the free mandate, and it was shown on live how the European integration process of Georgia is being disrupted. We saw the names, surnames, and faces of the people who tried to organize sabotage. Therefore, there will be a technical break and I call on the opposition to think about what they are doing. I will give you a technical break to think. Three candidates have been elected, two vacant places are still left, and I urge all of you to think about the high responsibility that your mandate entails," said Shalva Papuashvili.
