The Minister of Justice of Georgia, Rati Bregadze, states that the Polish doctor himself confirmed the fact of placing the sample taken from the convict in a sock and trying to take it out this way.
The Minister calls on everyone to refrain from making provocative statements and deceiving the public.
Bregadze posted the relevant statement on the social network.
"The forces interested in covering up the incomprehensible incident related to the visit of foreign doctors to convict Saakashvili are deliberately trying to mislead the public and portray the situation as if it is not clear whether the Polish doctor really tried or not to take out the sample with his sock.
The fact is stubborn, the Polish doctor himself confirmed the fact of placing the sample taken from the convict in a sock and trying to take it out this way. We will not talk about more details at this stage. We call on everyone to refrain from making provocative statements and deceiving the public. Let's wait for the official explanation," the Minister wrote on Facebook.
