As Paata Manjgaladze said on PalitraNews, the Georgian Dream leaders have started talking about prosecuting the National Movement, thus "they switched to Irma Inashvili's project".

"I remember very well that in 2018, Irma Inashvili initiated the trial of the Natio­nal Movement, after she visited Moscow and met with Kalashnikov and communists there. That is, Irma Inashvili's project has now become of the Georgian Dream project. Irakli Kobakhidze promised people back in 2014 that the Natio­nal Movement would disappear. And suddenly, in 2023, almost 10 years later, the main topic is again the Natio­nal Movement", Paata Manjgaladze said.

In addition, while talking about the current situation in the opposition spectrum, Paata Manjgaladze noted that he and his party will compete with the opposition politicians only in plans and programs necessary for taking care of people and not in throwing mud.

"I will say something very simple, we do not compete with anyone in throwing mud. Today Giorgi Vashadze made very correct statements at the briefing. We will compete with the opposition politicians in actions, programs and plans that are intended for people, but we will not compete with anyone in throwing mud, because we have an order from people to make the country free and European, and secondly, to solve the problems and hardships that people have. This is what people are expecting," said Paata Manjgaladze.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, stated today that the majority of Georgian citizens did not support "ordered provocations against Russia", which "the radical Georgian opposition organizes at the request of Western sponsors".
