Ministry of Defense: A special plan was developed, according to which the soldiers of the combat-engineering battalion will arrange several drawbridges in the disaster area

Minister of Defense Juansher Burchuladze, together with the Commander of the Defense Forces, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili and other leading persons of the Defense Forces, was in the disaster zone until late at night.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense got acquainted with the ongoing works in the epicenter of the disaster.

"A special plan was developed, according to which the soldiers of the combat-engineering battalion will arrange several drawbridges in the disaster zone. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze and Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories of Georgia, Labor, Health and Social Security Zura Azarashvili were in the epicenter of the disaster along with the Minister of Defense," the information reads.
