"The elections of October 1, 2012 became one of the most important events in our recent history - the Georgian people expressed confidence in the main creator of this historic victory - Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili, who democratically changed the autocratic, anti-national, oppressive regime and started a completely new stage of the country's development.

At a time of complete hopelessness, Bidzina Ivanishvili united the entire society, and such consolidation of people made the peaceful transfer of power possible for the first time in our history.

From today's point of view, the results of this victory are visible and impressive - our political team ensured the only long period of peace after gaining independence, we carried out large-scale economic and social reforms, promoted the strengthening of democratic institutions, took important steps towards the historical aspiration of the Georgian people - joining the European Union. We continue the process of democratic transformation, development of security and prosperity of the country and strive for even more ambitious goals.

All this time we have been given strength by the great trust and support of the people. Today, once again, I would like to thank each member or supporter of Georgian Dream, our entire society.
