Prime Minister: It is disturbing that foreign citizens are conducting trainings here on how to make a revolution - these people have not learned anything, they think it is 2003 - now it is 2023 and we are in power

We will not allow any disturbance and destabilization in the country by such nonentities, destructive radical forces, said the Prime Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili at today's session of the Government.

The head of the Government responded to the information spread by the State Security Service and noted that the statement of the Security Service is disturbing.

"The public heard this morning the information spread by the SSG and the concrete evidence regarding how the unrest is being prepared in the country. You know that some time ago we informed the public about this and exposed the plans and ideas of the destructive forces, the hostile and anti-national forces operating inside the country, who have help from outside the borders of the country. We have seen that active involvement is from foreign countries. The fact that citizens of a foreign state come to the country and conduct trainings here is a concern, all of this is disguised as if they are conducting trainings for representatives of the field of art and culture. At this time, calls and trainings on how to make a revolution and overthrow the government by violent means go directly. Probably, these people have not learned anything. The fact is, they cannot analyze. So many years have passed and they are still stuck in the past. They think it's 2003 now. It is now 2023 and we have been in power for over 11 years. We certainly will not allow any disturbance and destabilization in the country by such nonentities, destructive radical forces. I want to tell you that today the state is strong," said the Prime Minister.
