Tina Bokuchava: We will continue the idea of the Rose Revolution with unity and we will bring our goal to the end, that is to make our country a member of the European Union and NATO

In order to defeat the Russian regime, we need unprecedented unity and belief in victory. Let's believe in victory and unite for victory - Tina Bokuchava, one of the leaders of the National Movement, said this during her speech at the event held in connection with the 20th anniversary of the Rose Revolution.

In addition, according to Tina Bokuchava, the "Russian regime" of Bidzina Ivanishvili captured the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, for the ideas and achievements of the Rose Revolution.

"President Mikheil Saakashvili should have been standing in front of you today as the first speaker and the main hero of the day. President Mikheil Saakashvili is the main hero of the Rose Revolution along with the Georgian people. That is why Ivanishvili's Russian regime captured Mikheil Saakashvili, precisely for the ideas and achievements of the Rose Revolution, that is why he is in prison today. We must fight this appalling injustice and end it in time. I believe that it will happen very soon and we will continue the Rose Revolution together.

They tortured and poisoned President Saakashvili, but they could not kill him, because they could not kill the idea of the Rose Revolution in him. The idea of a united, strong, democratic, European, free Georgia. This is the main idea that drove the Rose Revolution and that drives President Saakashvili and drives us. This is an idea that lives in the hearts and minds of each of us, and therefore neither Ivanishvili nor Putin will ever be able to kill it.

That's why today I believe in victory. We will continue the idea of the Rose Revolution with unity, including coalition unity. After victory we will bring our goal to the end, that is to make our country a member of the European Union and NATO, and Georgia becomes a successful state", said Bokuchava.

Michał Kobosko - we hope that your government eventually would either choose the European way, the democratic way or would resign seeing the number, the size and scale of the citizens' protests
