Salome Samadashvili: I don’t want to offend Mikheil Saakashvili or representatives of his party, but today the public consensus is against both Georgian Dream and National Movement

Saakashvili will never return to power, neither will the National Movement. They will never have the votes of 76 MPs, which is necessary for the formation of the government, - one of the leaders of Lelo, Salome Samadashvili, said on PalitraNews.

According to her, today the public consensus is against both Georgian Dream and National Movement.

“The only chance for Georgian Dream to stay in power is to present National Movement as its only alternative. I don’t want to offend Mikheil Saakashvili or representatives of his party, but today the public consensus is against both Georgian Dream and National Movement. The survey shows that “I will never vote for the National Movement" are more than those who say that they will never vote for Georgian Dream. It is an illusion, absolute nonsense, for anyone to believe that the National Movement can defeat Georgian Dream. This is absurd, there is no chance of that," said Salome Samadashvili.

According to Salome Samadashvili, the Lelo party is presented to the public today as the third political force.

"This is proven by the fact that today everyone is talking about our initiative, the entire opposition spectrum says that they will support the Lelo initiative. To be honest, I don't even care about public opinion polls a year before the elections. A lot may change in a year. I am interested in public opinion polls in order to understand what worries my fellow citizens. As for the ratings of the parties, they change, increase, decrease, etc.", said Salome Samadashvili.
