According to President Salome Zurabishvili, "Unity Platform for Europe" is inviting the ruling party, "Georgian Dream" to the meeting, in addition to the opposition.

Salome Zurabishvili told the journalists at the President's administration about this, when she answered the question whether "Georgian Dream" was also invited to the meeting.

"Did you hear yesterday's speech? It applies to everyone who has an interest", said Salome Zurabishvili.

In addition to this question, journalists asked the president how she heard Mikheil Saakashvili's message regarding her speech in the parliament, however, Salome Zurabishvili did not answer the mentioned question.

Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze, the leaders of the "Lelo" party from the opposition came to the meeting.

As for other opposition politicians, as opposition politicians Eka Beselia told InterpressNews, she had a conversation with Salome Zurabishvili on the issue of "Unity Platform for Europe" and confirmed that she will be actively involved in the process.

For information, according to President Salome Zurabishvili, the country needs unity, a real goal and the gathering of living forces around this one goal. As Salome Zurabishvili pointed out, she is ready to take responsibility for the formation of this platform and to establish a coordination center with the presidential administration, which will bring together all specific proposals on European priorities and, through dialogue and consensus, will support the formation of a joint document.

"From this podium, we offer a formula and a way to get out of the current deadlock, so that we don't miss this unique chance - we offer to create a charter of the future - "a platform of unity for Europe", - said Zurabishvili.
