"I am sure it is not the presidential pardon. It is not known on what basis he was released. I don't know the details. I can say that we sent an application to the Parole Commission in November of the previous year, we received a reply that the Commission requested a 3-month period. On February 19, 3 months should have passed. Today my brother calls me that he has been released. I don't know the details," Tornike Mamaladze told TV Pirveli.
