If a compromise solution, dialogue, is not reached, there is a second option – we will go to regime collapse before the elections, there is no other way, - this is what the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, stated in a video address.

According to Zurabishvili, no one has interfered in the collapse of the regime except those in power who failed to realize in time how to treat this country, and therefore, "the regime will collapse on its own."

Zurabishvili also reiterated her proposal to Bidzina Ivanishvili from yesterday. According to the President, there is little time left to discuss new elections, as the crisis can no longer be tolerated. She once again called on the Honorary Chairman of the Georgian Dream to meet within this week.

“This crisis has reached a point where no solution is left. We have tried and tested every possible means legally available to overcome this crisis before it reached this scale. These were the court cases, but we did not achieve results – this is the sad state of our judiciary.

I must correct Irakli Kobakhidze here – it was not the court that upheld the ruling party’s position and the election results, the Constitutional Court did not accept or even consider the complaint, which created a new unconstitutional situation, as the illegitimate parliament should not have convened either without my involvement or without the Constitutional Court's response.

Citizens have also filed a complaint with Strasbourg, and this is the final stage, but we all know that Strasbourg will not respond today or tomorrow, however, this step has also been taken.

There is no legal or constitutional way left. The only remaining solution is the appointment of new elections, and this is the demand of the people, my demand, and the demand of political parties.

Where we are, there are two solutions left – one is to hold these elections in the shortest possible time and under conditions that will restore voters' trust. We need to reach an agreement with the ruling team that these elections will be held within the set timeframe.

The dialogue must be with me, not with individual members of society, which is not prohibited in itself and may even be good, but the dialogue on this matter must be with me as the mediator and with those who participated in these elections – parties, observers, etc.

On the other side, there should be Bidzina Ivanishvili and several representatives of his party, as many as he wants. In principle, even if he comes alone, it's fine, I will be alone too, and we will talk. We have very little time for this because this crisis can no longer be tolerated, and if this week he comes to the realization that we must take care of this country, that we must take care of this society, calm it down, and give the key to peace, then why delay, we should meet this week, by the 29th. I am ready and will accept any form.
