Givi Sanikidze, Commissioner of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), participated in the 22nd Annual Conference and General Assembly of the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA), which was held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

Givi Sanikidze introduced to the participants latest developments in the energy sector of Georgia and spoke in detail about the preparatory stage of the 9th World Energy Regulation Forum, which will be held in Tbilisi in 2026. The Deputy Director of the Regulatory Audit Department of the GNERC, Levan Enukidze, participated in the meeting together with the commissioner.

The Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) unites regulatory commissions of countries in the European and Asian regions. The organization also includes partner organizations, including those from the United States. GNERC is one of the founders of the Association.
