Police have arrested two people in connection with the murder that took place in a bar in Tbilisi.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in addition to the accused in the murder, a person who witnessed the murder but did not report the crime to the police has also been arrested.
The crime is punishable by imprisonment for a term of up to 15 years.
“The investigation established that I.G., while visiting a bar in Tbilisi, on the grounds of a mutual dispute, stabbed A.S., born in 2006, who was in the same bar, and fled the scene of the incident. A.S. died at the scene of the incident as a result of the wounds inflicted.
As a result of the conducted operational-search measures and investigative actions, law enforcement officers arrested I.G. shortly after the incident. The investigation also revealed that R.P. witnessed the murder, but did not report the crime to the police," reads the statement .
