Tina Bokuchava - Papuashvili constantly thinks of being strangled with hugs, and it was also expressed in his behavior - it is possible that Herczynski  was referring to the Soviet Union, but for Papuashvili this may not be a dark past at all

Papuashvili constantly thinks of being strangled with hugs, and it was also expressed in his behavior. Probably everyone remembers how he behaved towards me, when with this very movement, which he is now describing in relation to Herczynski, he abused a woman in the highest legislative body of the country, this Papuan, a real abuser, - the chairwoman of the National Movement, Tina Bokuchava, said on Palitranews while assessing the statement of the chairman of the parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, where he said that if there was anything dark in the history of Georgia, it was the constant attempt of foreign forces to "strangle us with hugs".

According to Bokuchava, in his statement, where he talks about the dark past of Georgia, Pawel Herczynski is referring not only to the 90s, but also to the Soviet period. As the opposition politician noted, it is entirely possible that for Shalva Papuashvili, as well as for Putin, the collapse of the Soviet Union is associated with the greatest geopolitical catastrophe.

“I suspect that Pawel Herczynski was actually referring not only to the dark 90s. It is quite possible that he was referring to the Soviet Union as well. This is actually Georgia’s extremely dark past, when the country was occupied by the Soviet regime, the reincarnation of which is now Vladimir Putin, who believes that the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the last century was the collapse of the Soviet Union and is trying to breathe new life into it to this day through Russia’s expansionist policy, of which Georgia became a part in military terms back in 2008 and is still a victim of this expansionist policy.

For Papuashvili, this may not be a dark past at all and he shares Putin’s opinion. As representatives of the Russian-Dream regime agree with Zakharova and other Putin propagandists in many other assessments, it is quite possible that Shalva Papuashvili may also agree with Putin in the assessment that the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the last century was the collapse of the Soviet Union and the fact that Georgia gained independence through the struggle of the Georgian people," said Tina Bokuchava.

The chairwoman of the National Movement also spoke about the assessments made by opposition parties about Mikheil Saakashvili's statements regarding the Opposition Alliance.

According to Bokuchava, the National Movement cannot and will not position itself as an "anti-Misha" formation.

“I am sure that for many people this is a kind of disappointment. I will definitely not act as a judge, I cannot and will not consciously combine the function of Themis because I am a politician, I have a political goal and this political goal is to instill hope in the people as much as possible.

It will not be surprising to anyone that the United National Movement, which was founded by Mikheil Saakashvili and for which President Mikheil Saakashvili is the greatest electoral force, will never be part of a formation that will start positioning itself as an “anti-Misha” formation.

We entered this alliance not to emphasize different views, but to instill more faith in the citizens of Georgia that we can work together,” said Tina Bokuchava.
