Khatia Dekanoidze, one of the leaders of the National Movement, said she will appear in court for questioning in connection with Lazare Jorbenadze's case. As the opposition politician states, this is all ironic for her, and the responsibility for creating the current system in the country lies with Bidzina Ivanishvili, therefore, according to Dekanoidze, Bidzina Ivanishvili, Irakli Kobakhidze, and Mamuka Mdinaradze, and all those people who "do all kinds of dirty things for the sake of money" should be summoned for questioning.

“Bidzina Ivanishvili is the creator of a system in which people are fighting over a chair, money, testifying against each other, framing everything, and of course, they are mired in corruption. They frame everything for money, accuse each other of murder, suicide, write testimonies and fight to somehow steal much more money. This is a system for which, of course, Bidzina Ivanishvili is primarily responsible, therefore, Bidzina Ivanishvili, Kobakhidze, Mdinaradze and all those people who frame all kinds of filth for money should be summoned by the investigation. The Georgian people really do not deserve such governance and certainly do not deserve the terrible filth that these people are telling about each other.

For information, according to the Georgian Prosecutor’s Office, a number of investigative and procedural actions have been carried out on the suicide of Lazare Jorbenadze on April 4, 2026, within the framework of the investigation ongoing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and at this stage, the fact of suicide has been unequivocally confirmed.

According to the same information, nevertheless, based on the public statements made by Irakli Gharibashvili and other persons convicted in the case, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office, within the framework of the ongoing investigation at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Nika Gvaramia; Irma Inashvili; Nanuka Zhorzholiani; Khatia Dekanoidze; Tazo Datunashvili; Gia Khukhashvili; Giorgi Liluashvili; Zaza Davitaia; Ermile Nemsadze; Giorgi Gigauri will be questioned. According to the office, the Irakli Gharibashvili will also be questioned in the legal case.
