"As soon as Gharibashvili published this status, the entire National Movement, their Facebook leaders came out and began to continue and deepen the exact same narrative. I think the decision of the Prosecutor's Office to launch additional investigative actions on this fact was timely. None of the interviewees had any information, any connection with the Jorbenadze case.

They do not know anything, they are not in touch with anyone and they are trying with these lies... they live around death. This is how they want to live. They want to prolong their political life with human tragedy. Their food is threats, nostalgia for old repressions. They blame others and they look for political fodder around someone’s death, this is their whole content. Sorry, but Georgia, the government and society cannot follow their suicidal aspirations," Kadagishvili said.

As for the criticism of the interviewees that the investigative agency is not summoning Irakli Kobakhidze and Mamuka Mdinaradze, mentioned in Irakli Gharibashvili's letter, for questioning, Kadagishvili says that they can organize a rally to demonstrate their own desires."

"It is a bit excessive to watch their political madness for a long time and make comments," Kadagishvili said.

For information, former Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili has published another letter from prison, in which he asks a question - "What was the real reason for the death of human rights defender Lazare Jorbenadze?" and says that "to this day, unanswered questions remain in society regarding the suicides of numerous people that took place during the Kobakhidze-Mdinaradze administration."

Later, the Prosecutor's Office issued a statement confirming the fact of Lazare Jorbenadze's suicide, however, based on publicly made statements by the convicted Irakli Gharibashvili and other individuals, Nika Gvaramia; Irma Inashvili; Nanuka Jorzholiani; Khatia Dekanoidze; Tazo Datunashvili; Gia Khukhashvili; Giorgi Liluashvili; Zaza Davitaia; Ermile Nemsadze; Giorgi Gigauri were summoned within the framework of the investigation underway at the Ministry of Internal Affairs under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office.
