Lasha Parulava: There was an agreement between Ivanishvili and Gharibashvili that Ivanishvili violated, therefore he is Gharibashvili’s target; as for the claim that Gharibashvili’s and UNM’s narratives coincide, we have been talking for years about the crimes of the “Kakhetian clan”

Gharibashvili’s claims may formally be directed at Kobakhidze-Mdinaradze, but in reality the target is Bidzina Ivanishvili - the imprisoned Gharibashvili is bringing a new accusation against Kobakhidze-Mdinaradze and accusing them of murders; this is a direct accusation, first of all against Ivanishvili, this is how one of the leaders of the United National Movement, Lasha Parulava, assesses the statements made from prison by former Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili on PalitraNews’ programme “Day’s Newsroom.”

In Lasha Parulava’s assessment, there was an agreement between Bidzina Ivanishvili and former Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili that Bidzina Ivanishvili violated.

“In reality, Bidzina Ivanishvili’s criminal group has exhausted the political space and that is precisely why the internal squabbling began. What does it mean that Irakli Gharibashvili is distributing new statements every week? He told us that there is no court in the country. He had a shadow deal with Ivanishvili, and Bidzina Ivanishvili not only violated this deal but also began bullying his family. If in ‘Georgian Dream’ the Mdinaradze-Kobakhidze group is accusing him of corruption - and indeed, if Irakli Gharibashvili, Liluashvili and this group are distinguished by anything, it is precisely corruption, about which we were speaking when he was prime minister and had power - on the other hand, when one group calls the other corrupt and puts them in prison, the imprisoned Gharibashvili is bringing a new accusation against Kobakhidze-Mdinaradze and accusing them of murders. This is a direct accusation, first of all against Ivanishvili, because he violated the contract with Irakli Gharibashvili. Gharibashvili’s claims may formally be directed at Kobakhidze-Mdinaradze, but in reality the target is Bidzina Ivanishvili,” Lasha Parulava stated.

As for the assessments made in “Georgian Dream” that Irakli Gharibashvili’s and the “National Movement’s” statements fit into one narrative, which cannot be accidental and is a coordinated action, according to Parulava’s statement, the representatives of the ruling team do not have the moral right to accuse others when they themselves are responsible for corruption and various types of crimes.

“As for ‘Dream’s’ statements, for example, Sharmanashvili is such a social and political phenomenon who had a photo of President Saakashvili in his office and was proud of it, and then hung up a photo of Bidzina Ivanishvili. This person is now accusing us. Levan Khabeishvili, President Saakashvili and the members of our team have been talking for years about the corrupt crimes of Irakli Gharibashvili, the ‘Kakhetian clan,’ Partsakhaladze, Liluashvili, about the fact that they were robbing the army. During the time of the ‘National Movement’ the army was built up, ‘Didgori’ and ‘Lazika’ were created, and this industry and the company ‘Delta’ were brought to zero by Gharibashvili. He was stealing money, one defence minister was taking money to another, they were taking money to the prime minister; Juansher Burchuladze is already confirming this. There was one lady, Dali Mchedlidze, who worked in the Ministry of Defence and was the head of one of the departments of the quality control service. She said that because she did not sign the acceptance-transfer acts and rejected specific inventory, she was dismissed from her job. Because this lady was speaking about this corruption, indifference and specific crime that was happening in the Georgian army, she was thrown out.

The visiting card of ‘Georgian Dream’ is corruption and murders. The death of Barbare Rafaliants is directly connected with ‘Georgian Dream’ and Bidzina Ivanishvili. Erosi Kitsmarishvili was found murdered with a seatbelt on; there was no suicide there at all. The deaths of the participants of the Kodori special operation - not a single one of these cases has been investigated. The murder of Bachaliashvili. These cases are connected with ‘Georgian Dream.’

This Partsakhaladze, whom the USA declared a spy, was their electoral general, who was a thief of Botases and whom the entire ‘Georgian Dream’ was ‘covering,’ including those people who are now in opposition and have not even apologised. This man is declared a murderer, a Russian spy, who brought charges against President Saakashvili. Why did Archil Kbilashvili not bring charges against Saakashvili? Because he is a professional lawyer; he did not dare to sign this filth. They brought in the thief of Botases, who not only brought charges against Saakashvili, but with this charge he is in prison and under the conditions of the regime he has in fact been sentenced to life imprisonment. This man left, changed his surname and became Romanov, formed a battalion - it is cynical - the ‘Georgievsky Battalion’ and is inviting people to the front, to the side of Russia and Putin. There is no clearer confirmation than this that these people are part of the Russian, Putinist system.

Otar Partsakhaladze was the unofficial general of ‘Georgian Dream.’ He was not a ‘paper general’ like the Mamuka Mdinaradze they have, but a real general. He controlled the prosecutor’s office, had Irakli Shotadze in his pocket, controlled the financial police and the entire system. He counted the profit received from the so-called call centres and had created a criminal scheme. During the pandemic, the only person who was moving around in the street, violating all restrictions, and whom Levan Khabeishvili caught, was precisely Partsakhaladze. They covered up the 600-million VAT scandal and no one returned this money to the budget. They got away with all of this because the main conductor of this corruption and crime is Bidzina Ivanishvili and the responsibility also lies with him.

In his assessment, the authorities have not fulfilled a single promise, while the additional finances that appeared in the budget are the result of fining the population and increased taxes.

Bidzina Ivanishvili is not making any moves; he has exhausted his resource. Gharibashvili is a ‘proto-Kotsi,’ a primitive ‘Kotsi,’ while Sharmanashvili did not come from their midst; he is an ordinary hanger-on. Now that he is attacking Gharibashvili, does this please the ‘Georgian Dream’ voter? It does not.

There is not a single promise that they fulfilled, while taxes are increasing. An additional 800 million lari appeared in the budget. This is money coming from the excise on fuel, from fines, from VAT on fuel, from ‘shearing’ the people. Where is this money going? Not a single school or kindergarten has been built. The time of this political-criminal group has expired and we must see them off together,” Lasha Parulava stated.
