“Today’s personnel reshuffle is connected to Mamuka Mdinaradze. Geka Geladze was Mdinaradze’s cadre. The one who was Gela in the ‘Nats’ and became Geka in the ‘Kots’,” one of the leaders of the National Movement, Lasha Parulava, said when speaking about the personnel changes implemented in the authorities.

As Parulava noted on PalitraNews’ programme “Resume,” the “internal imprisonment” of former Vice-Premier and former Minister of Regional Development Mamuka Mdinaradze “will not be the internal imprisonment of only one man; among others, Geka Geladze may also be involved.”

“In reality this is the last hour of the ‘Dream’. Ivanishvili has exhausted his political resource. Today’s personnel reshuffle is connected to Mamuka Mdinaradze. Geka Geladze was Mdinaradze’s cadre. The one who was Gela in the ‘Nats’ and became Geka in the ‘Kots’. When Irakli Kobakhidze presented the new head of the SSG, Geka was not standing next to him at all; this means that the same precedent will be set as in the cases of Liluashvili, Okhanashvili and Mdinaradze. It is not ruled out that Mdinaradze’s internal imprisonment will not be the internal imprisonment of only one man; among others, Geka Geladze may also be involved,” Parulava stated.

In Parulava’s view, Mdinaradze is under internal imprisonment and the “reason for this is the ‘breaking off’ of money from the ‘Dream’s’ cashbox.”

“Mamuka Mdinaradze is under internal imprisonment solely and only because he is accused of ‘breaking off’ money from the ‘Dream’s’ cashbox and transferring it to a creditor. That is precisely why Ivanishvili appointed Anzor Chubinidze as his supervisor; members of his security detail are standing there. Today, if Kobakhidze is such a tough guy as he talks a lot, let him free his friend from internal imprisonment and provide him with assistance,” Parulava stated.

According to Parulava, if Gharibashvili was stealing the people’s money, Mdinaradze stole from Ivanishvili.

“Mdinaradze is accused of stealing Ivanishvili’s money that had been accumulated in the module. No one paid attention to Romeo Mikautadze’s testimony, where he said: ‘I was collecting money from business and taking it to Liluashvili.’ The money was being taken into the ‘Dream’s’ cashbox, into Ivanishvili’s cashbox. Ivanishvili is not supposed to spend money on elections. This money is collected from business and goes to the module building. I did not invent this; this is Romeo Mikautadze’s testimony. It turned out that if Gharibashvili was stealing the people’s money, Mdinaradze stole from Ivanishvili. ‘All of them together are murderers,’ says Irakli Gharibashvili,” Parulava stated.

According to Parulava, the security system in the country is not working at all; this is evidenced by the changes of the heads of the SSG over the past year.

“In exactly 500 days Ivanishvili has replaced four heads of the SSG. A country 20% of which is occupied, a country that is in such a difficult geopolitical storm, needs a functioning security system. But the security system is not working at all in the country. This is clear confirmation of the fact that when ‘Georgian Dream’ talks to us about peace. Only Ivanishvili has peace; only Ivanishvili has well-being,” Parulava stated.
