Kakha Kaladze: The European Parliament’s role has been devalued; their resolutions are riddled with lies—they hold no weight whatsoever!

"If we look at the statements made and resolutions adopted by them in recent years, the European Parliament’s role has generally been devalued," Kakha Kaladze, General Secretary of Georgian Dream, stated while speaking with journalists and assessing the resolution adopted by the European Parliament.
According to him, the statements made and resolutions adopted by Members of the European Parliament carry no weight.
"This is not the first time we have seen or heard of resolutions of this kind; they carry no weight. If we look at the statements made and resolutions adopted in recent years, the European Parliament’s function has effectively been devalued. The most important point here is that all their statements and resolutions are riddled with lies, unfair attitudes toward specific issues, bias, and political speculation. Consequently, the statements they make and the resolutions they adopt hold no value," stated Kakha Kaladze.
The European Parliament has adopted another resolution regarding Georgia. In the resolution, Members of the European Parliament once again call for the imposition of targeted sanctions and visa bans on those responsible for democratic backsliding, violent repressions, and political persecution—specifically Bidzina Ivanishvili, Irakli Kobakhidze, Shalva Papuashvili, and Kakha Kaladze.
