Abkhazia considering imposition of quarantine on “border” with Georgia due to swine flu virus spread

The de facto authorities of the occupied region of Abkhazia is considering to impose a quarantine on the so-called border with Georgia due to the spread of swine flu virus, - the de facto chief sanitarian Lyudmila Skorik said.

"The issue of imposition of a quarantine on the border with Georgia is being considered. Presumably, these measures will be taken by the Security Service and the Border Service. The entry into Abkhazia will be restricted," he said.

The de facto chief sanitary also noted that "no case of H1N1 virus has uet been reported in Abkhazia".
