Mamuka Bakhtadze, Sir Alan Duncan discuss strategic relations between Georgia and UK

Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia, has met with Sir Alan Duncan, Minister of State for Europe and the Americas of the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

InterPressNews was informed by the PM’s Press Office, at a brief meeting held on the sidelines of the 55th Munich Security Conference, Mamuka Bakhtadze and Sir Alan Duncan discussed strategic relations between Georgia and UK, positive trend of bilateral trade and economic relations, process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia.

The sides underlined the pending reforms in Georgia, which were positively assessed by Sir Alan Duncan. They talked about the challenges facing the region.

Mamuka Bakhtadze and Sir Alan Duncan stressed the importance of the Wardrop Strategic Dialogue, which signifies the solid relations between Georgia and UK.

It was noted that workgroups created within this format have a great impact on the development of political, trade, economic and people to people relations.
