I hope that the existed cooperation between Georgia and the republic of Azerbaijan, which is based on a strong foundation such as mutual understanding and respect for our countries’ independence and territorial integrity, will further strengthen, - it is said in the letter sent by Elmar Mamediarov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, to his Georgian counterpart Davit Zalkaliani on the occasion of Georgia’s Independence Day.

According to FM Mamediarov, the friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between the two countries serve the interests of the well-being of the Georgian and Azeri people.
