PM : We want more investments, more trade, and more of the US in Georgia

We want more investments, more trade, and more of the US in Georgia, Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze said during his remarks at a joint briefing with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

The Prime Minister underlined that there are good opportunities of doing business in Georgia.

“Today Georgia is a stable democracy with strong state institutions, with a growing economy, and vibrant civil society. Georgia is widely considered as a top reformer country in the region and beyond. We strive to become the gold standard in ease of doing business and legal transparency. Investment flows to opportunity where barriers are the lowest,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister underlined the importance of Georgian-US economic cooperation and noted that Georgia is a unique gateway, where American companies can quickly reach the European and Asian growing markets.

“Economic cooperation continues to grow between Georgia and the US. We are proud that nearly 200 hundred American companies are now operating in Georgia.
