Business Ombudsman says his resignation is linked to alternative plans

This was not a spontaneous decision, - Irakli Lekvinadze said when commenting on his resignation as Business Ombudsman.

According to Lekvinadze, his resignation is linked to alternative plans.

“I would like to state that my resignation is related to the agreed alternative plans that I will talk about in the near future and this was not a spontaneous decision,” the former Business Ombudsman said.

He thanked all the business companies and business associations that had being expressing confidence and support to him for 22 months.

Business Ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze and Deputy Business Ombudsman Levan Kalandadze filed resignation applications on November 8.
