Mr Mikheil will be able to continue the reforms that are successfully ongoing in the Ministry of Education without wasting time, - Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at the cabinet meeting.

According to the head of government, Mikheil Chkhenkeli was involved in both the preparation of the systemic reform of education and at all stages of its implementation and is fully aware of what has been happening in the Ministry of Education in recent years.

"I would like to emphasize that Mr. Mikheil has been involved in the preparation of the systemic reform of education, as well as in all stages of its implementation, and therefore he knows exactly what has been going on in the Ministry of Education in recent years. This is of utmost importance to us and that is why, of course, along with other merits, Mr. Mikheil will be able to continue the reforms that are successfully ongoing in the Ministry of Education, without wasting time," Giorgi Gakharia said.

The Prime Minister particularly emphasized the importance of vocational education and instructed the Minister of Education to pay particular attention to this direction.
