We are united by our past and the challenges that our citizens and states face - territorial integrity of our countries. I am confident that together we will be able to take very effective steps in this direction. I am pleased that today, as part of the official visit, we will sign an agreement on the establishment of a high-level strategic council between Georgia and Ukraine. This is precisely the format and the level of strategic relationship that should unite our states and our citizens," the Prime Minister said.

The Chairman of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada thanked the Prime Minister of Georgia for his official visit and noted that it was a great honor for him to host Giorgi Gakharia.

"Our countries have a lot in common, we have common aspirations and, unfortunately, similar challenges - this is our fight for territorial integrity, but our relationship and the history of our countries have proven that we will address these challenges with dignity. I am sure we will be able to develop our relations, both at the parliamentary and at other levels," Dmitro Razumkov said.
