Giga Bokeria: If Ivanishvili continues to act like this, he will lose power here and then he will have problems everywhere

If Ivanishvili continues to act like this, he will lose power here and then he will have problems everywhere, in the free world, - one of the leaders of European Georgia, Giga Bokeria, told reporters when commenting another letter sent by the US Congressman to the Georgian PM.

“The essence of this situation is that the political class of the leader of the free world - the United States, which is our strategic partner - and especially the part of the United States that cares about Georgia, are extremely concerned about their values and pragmatic interests, about what is happening in Georgia, and in particular, where Ivanishvili and his team are going to, which may harm Georgia's interests and, in their view, American interests as well.

This means international isolation for Ivanishvili, and if he continues the current course, violence, repression, and failure to keep the promise given to the Georgian people after the bloodshed during the "Gavrilov’s night", all this will further deepen. If Ivanishvili continues to act like this, he will lose power here, because the Georgian society is already against him, and then he will have problems everywhere, in the free world, and he will have the hardest problems and we have examples of this”, Bokeria said.
